Hi Everyone,

I don't know what to say, those songs made me cry :( The last time I saw my beloved country was in 1991. I just want to say thank you, really thank you very much. I miss Syria so much and I hope to see it again soon. Those songs are great and they really made me cry. I am sorry I am very emotional but my love to Syria is beyond anything.

I am Syrian and I will be Syrian in my blood and in my soul until I die. Thank you for this great website. To all the Syrians out there, you should be proud to be one.

Amazing site! Thank you for preserving Arab history-finally a site that is organized and informative. I will be showing the pictures to both my classes on Arab history - as you have made the individuals of Syria's and Arab history alive again!

Also, thank you for remembering the Mahjar.

Damascus measures time not by days and months and years, but by the empires she had seen rise and prosper and crumble to ruin. She is a type of Immortality...
Damascus has seen all that has ever occured on earth, and still she lives.
She has looked on the dry bones of a thousand empires, and will see the tombs of a thousand more before she dies.
Although another claims the name, old Damascus is by right, the Eternal City.

Very nice and amazing site.

It's really a very hard job you did, and what an information and photos you have, wow.

But, I have one very small comment I hope to accept it from my humble opinion.

I was searching for X person, and I found plenty of photos, events and documents. However,
the most important thing I didn’t found (as I suppose from my search), I didn’t found who is this person, what I mean is his biography.
Birth of date, his death, where did he live?, you know what I mean by a biography.

I know that its not easy to collect all these information and photos, and what I'm asking is not easy too,
but as I can see, it will be more benefit if we know who are those people and how they did reach that place.

Thanks again,

Great Job.
