Standing in the first row, third from right, is Hassan the son of President Shukri al-Quwatli. Sixth from right is Adnan Buzzo, who later became a prominent sports commentator in Syria. Standing in the back row (ninth from left) is Abdul Qader Qaddura, the son of the Damascus Police Chief Ibrahim al-Mughrabi. In 1987-2003, Qaddura was to serve as Speaker of the Syrian Parliament.
