Irene Papas and Muna Wasif played the role of Hind Bint Otbah, the wife of Mecca notable Abu Sufyan, who fought the Prophet Mohammad during the early years of Islam. Hind was famed in Muslim history for sending a slave to kill Mohammad's uncle Hamzah in revenge for the killing of her family, and then eating his liver after the battle. Papas and Wasif played the role of Hind in the Arabic and American versions of the film "Mohammad: Messenger of God", which was released in March 1976.
