Haydar al-Kuzbari (1920-1996), co-planner of a military coup that toppled the UAR regime on September 28, 1961. Kuzbari worked with a group of Damascene officers, coined as the Damascus Coalition, to bring an end to the socialist dictatorship Nasser imposed on Syria.
