The funeral of Fawzi al-Ghazzi, author of Syria's first republican constitution and a co-founder of the National Bloc. Ghazzi was killed in 1929 by his wife Layla who wanted to get rid of him to marry his nephew. She was imprisoned for life then released by General Husni al- Zaiim in 1949.
